Castelvecchio and Carlo Scarpa

Castelvecchio Museum in Verona is a largely published building as it can be considered as a pioneer work of historic building remodellings. After more than four decades of its completion, it is interesting to see how influential the building still is. Especially the way it challenges the value of a straight-forward 'authenticity' concept is noteworthy.
